The top 10 highest paid tech CEOs (TechRepublic)



1. Larry Ellison, Oracle

For the past two decades, Larry Ellison has continually been one of the top earners in tech. He got $78.4 million in 2013.

2. Elon Musk, Tesla

With Tesla's market hovering above $31 billion at the time of this article, it's no wonder why Musk earned $78.2 million last year.

3. Don Mattrick, Zynga

Don Mattrick, CEO of Zynga, took in an impressive $57.8 million in 2013, especially for a company that continues to struggle.

4. Steve Kaufer, TripAdvisor

TripAdvisor CEO Steve Kaufer netted $39 million last year. Travel websites remain highly lucrative.

5. Marissa Mayer, Yahoo

Marissa Mayer took the reins at Yahoo in the middle of 2012. After her first full year as CEO in 2013, she made $36.6 million.

6. Tony Aquila, Solera Holdings

Tony Aquila is the CEO of Solera Holdings, a company that specializes in software for automobile insurance. In 2013, Aquila made $29.9 million.
